A fractured Warhawk community is the cause for the free content.
Starhawk was released yesterday for the PlayStation 3 and with the release of a launch trailer comes this announcement from the PlayStation Blog. Starhawk will have downloadable content in the future and while some will be paid content, the map packs will be free to everyone.
Available now on the PlayStation Network and PC for $9.99, and also on Xbox Live Marketplace for 800 Microsoft Points.
Called "Fenix Rising," five new maps will be available.
Epic Games has been supporting Gears of War 3 with the Horde Command Pack, the RAAM's Shadow expansion, and the free Versus Booster Map Pack. Today, Microsoft confirmed the next bit of DLC will be a map pack called Fenix Rising.
